This gentleman was subjected to a gruesome act of mutilation, with his skull being butchered using matchette. The local hospitals were hesitant to intervene, possibly due to their limited equipment or expertise in handling such a complex case. However, they were informed of our upcoming medical camp, which would feature doctors from the United States. Upon their arrival, our camp was nearing the end of its operations for the day. Our doctors promptly ceased their ongoing activities and promptly attended to the emergency case. They meticulously cleaned the skull, which had experienced some severe slashes, and performed an emergency surgery to preserve his life. This incident became a pivotal moment during our medical mission, and we are eternally grateful for the prompt and decisive action taken by our medical professionals. Following the meticulously performed surgery by our doctors, led by Professor Jonathan Laryea and the team of medical staff, we express our gratitude to God for finding Global Wisdom Missions useful in Suriname.
