READING: “So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.” – Luke 11:2
READING: John 5:19-20, 30
It is a great blessing to know that our Father in Heaven has plans for His children. You are in this world to fulfill the plans that you were created by God to do. The Lord Jesus reveals to us it is possible to see these plans come to pass, and He shows the way to link up with them. It is by praying them into alignment with the plans (the will) of God.
Note that as humans, we have the capacity to plan and execute our plans to any conclusions we may have. But not all our plans end well or give us the desired results. But this way that the Lord Jesus shows us can and will bring us into what will not fail; the perfect will of God!
As we begin a new year, what a great opportunity we have to fashion our lives this year according to the plans in Heaven for our lives. As we make new resolutions, we can daily include praying down the will of the Father, as it is in Heaven. This can be a prayer to even link what is above with happenings here on earth. May they work for you in Jesus’ name! Remember Jesus is coming again!
🙏🏽 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I pray that what You have planned as Your will for me and my family, my education, job, business, ministry etc be as it is in Heaven this year, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
