Let’s lift up men and women of God, as they seek to amplify the Lord. We pray for them knowing that this calling is not without its challenges, but in Christ all things will work together for good.
For strength and stickability
Mighty God, we lift up every young Pastor and Minister unto You. Lord grant them strength as they serve You and Your people. May they never grow weary in doing good and may You arm them with boldness and grace as they walk alongside Your people, carrying out the work You have predestined for them. Lord Jesus, empower them to remain faithful to You and to stick by Your Word when challenging seasons come. O Gracious Father, lead them by Your Holy Spirit and help them endure. For Your Word says that he who endures to the end, shall be saved. Help them stand strong in order to receive their crowns in due course. Send them assistance and favour and take all the glory and honour. In Jesus name, Amen.
To remain integral
Abba Father, may Your ambassadors remain integral to Your Spirit and Your Word in thought, in action and in deed. Jesus equip to stand firm and to proclaim Your truth with uncompromising boldness. Let all Pastors and Ministers uphold your truth without reservation knowing that You will give them the words to speak and you will lead them with Your mighty right hand. Lord in these end times, where people are falling left and right, lead your vassals in spirit and in truth. May they all understand the blessing that comes with heeding Your Word and teaching others to stand for Christ Jesus in these dark days. Father, let Your grace keep them all the days of their lives – enable these leaders to be doers of Your Word not hearers only we pray. In Jesus name, Amen.
To overcome personal trials and temptations
God, You told us in Your Word that the enemy desires to sift Your people like wheat as he intended with Peter and that the enemy goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. O Lord God, fortify our Pastors that they will always overcome the firey darts of the wicked one. Jesus, help them overcome personal challenges, trials and any temptations, knowing You overcame all and are now seated at the right hand of God. Lord, You able to deliver us all from struggles and this body of sin. Daily may You help these men and women of God kill their flesh, knowing that the flesh profits nothing. Help us remember that when we bring our burdens to You, You will fight for us and we need only hold our peace. Thank You Lord for victory over sin. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen and Amen.
For healing
Heavenly Father, King of kings, Lord of lords and Adonai. I thank you for Your ministers that You have appointed to help us all get closer to You. Lord Jesus, I ask that You heal them from any pain or ailment. O merciful God, You sent Your Word and healed our disease and right now I stand on that and declare healing over Your servant. Heal them O Lord and they shall be healed, save them and they shall be saved. Hallelujah. For You are full of compassion and tender mercies. You heal the sick and You are the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Send wisdom on how to heal this specific issue. Send caring and compassionate medical professionals – use them Father in a mighty way. For it is Your anointing that breaks every yoke. Break sickness, break chains of pain and disease for You are the one I praise. Only You have the power over sickness. In Jesus name, Amen.
For help
My God and King, help all those who are calling upon You today. Father whatever the situation or request, send wisdom and guidance. Let all those who call upon You know that You are able to help and send solutions. Lord Jesus, may they know You answer from Your holy hill. May they feel Your presence and know that nothing is impossible with You. For their help comes from You – the maker of Heaven and earth. Take control of their circumstances and show Your people that truly those who put their trust in You will never be put the shame. Send Your Spirit to them to guide them in all truth and direct their ways. Thank you for graciously inclining Your ear to Your people and showing them mercy. For You are able. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
For their congregation
Heavenly Father, I lift up this young Minister to You O God. I say thank You for his heart to serve Your people and to illuminate Your Word to them with the grace and wisdom You have given him. Jesus, let Your Minister not grow weary or faint in this work, but Lord refresh him and cause strength to rise up in him so he can give from a place of strength. My God and King, as this dear Pastor gives, may he never lack or be in doubt of Your great love for him. May he know that his serving of the people is a desire You placed in him. May he know that You have given him all things pertaining to life and godliness and that the Holy Spirit in him will continue to equip him with the words and thoughts to bless Your people indeed. Be glorified Lord Jesus in Your sons are they minister to Your people. In Jesus name, Amen.
For their families
Mighty God, bless every family member and close friend of our dear Pastors. Father God, help them to be a source of encouragement and peace to our Pastors. Lord God, particularly for their spouse and children, show them the vision so they can all walk in one accord for the mission of edifying the body and preaching Christ and Him crucified. Jesus, let Your peace reign in the home of your servant O God and cause their to be unity and understanding. Holy Spirit guide all who surround our Pastors and enable each and every family member and friend be a blessing. Take absolute control for we know this ministry work is not always easy. May great grace, love, peace and joy abound. Daily may all be a witness to Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus name, Amen
