READING: Psalm 18:1-18.
“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!” (Exodus 15:1)
Testimonies are part of the Christian’s life journey. This is because our walk with God involves impossible situations which He turns around through His grace. It is important that we get such an understanding so we do not faint at challenges.
Prior to this song of testimony, the children of Israel thought they were finished. They were panicking. The people were facing the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s forces with no way of escape. Unknown to them, God already had a plan to deliver them. And He did! He made a way through the Red Sea for them to cross over to the other side.
Our natural reaction to dire situations is to be apprehensive, and fearful because gloom is all that we can see. However, if we remember that the God we serve always gives us testimonies, we will not be shaken.
He has never failed and will never fail. God is always on time.
He will show up again. Jesus is coming back!
🙏 PRAYER: My Father and my God, thank You for being faithful. I believe You will always be on hand to deliver me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
