To be a doctor is a calling of such importance and rightly commands admiration and respect from all. To dedicate one’s life to helping those who are experiencing pain and suffering is ultimately Christ-like. Doctors and the medical professionals that serve those at their most vulnerable, give people hope. This offers a window into the heart of Christ, to heal, to set free and to restore. Doctors imitate the compassion of Christ Jesus and the love of God.
This blog piece is to celebrate the dedication of doctors worldwide who use their skill and gift to serve the people of God. Luke the author of one of the gospels, as well as the Book of Acts, was also a doctor, and a spiritual and physical blessing to the people of God.
Here at GWM, we work alongside highly skilled and qualified doctors and nurses who attend our medical missions. These doctors use the little spare time they have to fly from the US, UK and Europe to Africa and Asia to serve and treat whose who are unwell. At times these doctors are performing medical procedures at the back of the conferences to the glory of God.
Thank you Doctor for being used of God to heal those who are in pain and suffering. We want you to remain encouraged and to know you are valued and appreciated. May the Lord continue to use your hands and knowledge to help His people.

We cannot express our sincere gratitude to all the doctors and nurses, we work with. They truly are changing lives, may God continue to give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding. May God continue to perfect everything concerning them.
