READING: John 10:7-10, Rev 4:1-2.
“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)
Most people believe and hope in the afterlife. Many believe they will or hope to make it there some day after they depart this world. However, many have not thought of how they will enter there. This must be a pertinent question to every human being.
Most important places have doors to them.
There are secured doors to where valuable things are kept or exist. There is also “A Door” to eternal life and indeed, to Heaven. And the Lord Jesus declared “I Am The Door of the sheep!” (John 10:7)
There may exist several doors to a place but there is the right or appropriate door to enter secured zones. One may never gain access if he does not enter by that right door. Many claim there are many ways to get to God or Heaven. But the Lord Jesus said boldly “I Am that Door!” By Him only, therefore, would one enter there. Be sure you have the right door – The Lord Jesus Christ. He is surely coming soon!
🙏 PRAYER: Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are The Door by which I can enter eternal life. Please forgive me my sins. Wash me in your precious blood. I receive you in my heart as my Lord & Saviour today. Amen.
